U10 Heat Team

Our Windsor Heat U10 teams are a fully player-pitch program designed for athletes ready to compete and elevate their game.

At this level, players build confidence at the plate, in the field, and in the circle while developing stronger game IQ, situational awareness, and overall fundamentals through consistent practices and league play.

Each U10 athlete will compete in two tournaments this season. Your child will participate in two of the tournaments below depending on team placement. Please mark your calendars:

June 19–21 – Windsor Heat Summer Sizzler (ALL U10 Teams)
June 26–28 – Reedsburg (2 U10 Teams)
July 17–19 – Stoughton (2 U10 Teams)

Ages

Players must be 10 or under as of 8/31/2025.

When

Season begins with evaluations in March/April and runs until end of July.

Please note evaluations for the 2027 season will be held at the end of the 2026 season in August/September.

Where

Practices are held locally in DeForest/Windsor.

Practices

Teams practice 2 times per week during the preseason, adjusting to 1 practice per week during the season.

*Practice availability is subject to change based on field availability, weather, and coaches' schedules.

Games

Teams will typically play 2 games per week on Tuesday and Thursdays or double headers on Mondays.

*This is subject to change based on final registrant numbers and league availability.

Jerseys

All players will be equipped with two jerseys, one pair of pants, one pair of socks, and a belt.

Players are required to provide their own facemask and helmet with a face guard.

2026 U10 Heat Season

Our Windsor Heat U10 team is a fully player-pitch program designed for athletes ready to elevate their game. Players compete in league play and tournaments while developing hitting, defensive skills, pitching confidence, and overall game IQ.

At this level, we focus on strong fundamentals, mental growth, and teaching our athletes how to compete with confidence and be great teammates.
